In the dunes (Output)

The last two pieces of garment I made before I sold my sewing machine and packed my backpack (which actually is a massive suitcase...). I really, really adore the fabric of the trousers. The west is made of black cord, artificial leather and the inner facing (which you can´t see on the pictures) is made of grey thin cotton. I didn´t make the top. That was a 5€ one from Pimkie...
The dunes where the photo shooting happened are in Port Stephens and they actually have that much sand that they export it to Hawaii. Who would have expected that?

We have holidays in our holidays. That means: We started travelling. That means furthermore: There´s going to be a post abstinence for quiet a while and I  won´t upload many pictures till the middle of april. I don´t have the opportunity to sew during our journey, but there´re still some clothes  I made we didn´t take photos of yet… So maybe one or two posts in the following eight weeks.

Be-ach! Yeah, yeah, yeah!!! (Output)

Here´re photos of an incredibly simple beachdress I made about two weeks ago. Consisting of two pieces of fabric, a bit of bias binding and a belt made of the left overs... The pictures are taken at Point Lewis; a beach we passed during touring along the Great Ocean Road.

And a massive "THANKS!" to Björn who has the patience to take pictures of me again and again and again...

Hidden treasures (Input)

As I have a tiny crush on streetart I quite often sneek into little back streets, drive ways or behind foreign houses. And sometimes my nosiness is rewarded with pictures as the following. Here´s a personal selection of my favourites. Enjoy!

I was pretty excited when I found the stencil work of HA HA (last picture of the collage) as I´ve just seen his work in an exhibition where I wasn´t allowed to take photos. But sorry mates, I don´t have the slightest idea who all the other street artists are.
